What is Flatbed Print?

Printing directly onto a huge range of different materials opens up a world of new possibilities.

Flatbed printing is a large format printing process where the rigid or flexible flat surfaced media or substrate is laid on a flatbed and the ink is delivered directly to the surface of the material. This method of printing, which is also known as Direct to Media printing, is robust and outdoor durable. Flatbed printing is the ideal solution for short-run large format point-of-sale and outdoor display graphics.

Flat surfaced medias and substrates, both rigid and flexible, which can be printed onto directly using the flatbed printing process include: PVC Foamex, aluminium, corrugated board, MDF, polycarbonate, styrene, wood, acrylic, card and polyboard.

There are also many environmentally friendly, recyclable substrates and materials which can be printed on as well. The possibilities are endless
